How do I get a larger sway bar. Mine is like a 1/2 thick and I would like to get a 1 inch thick bar, bushings and brackets. Can someone provide a link?
Thanks

Tbh and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, I don't see a reason to upgrade to a beefier sway bar. Any wheeling that would be done would use disconnects anyway.

I feel like when I hit a bump out on the road, I feel like the rear end shimies back and forth a lot too much. Would switching the sway bar to a large one fix this issue.
Probably not. Check your shocks, shock bushings, sway bar bushings. Anyone with a lifted xj takes out the rear seat bar with no real noticeable difference.

Also make sure everything is torqued to spec. Mine was swaying really bad when I went to check I noticed my ubolts were super loose and I lost a shock mount nut.

Ive checked. I do believe the springs need to be replaced but not sure if thats the problem. Could the rubber bushings on the bar be bad? But the look snug?
They may look snug bout could be worn out. Check them for cracks and dry rot. Worn shocks and leafs will add to that up and down boat feeling.

I don't have the up and down boat feeling. Its a swaggel left to right from side to side in the rear. Kinda scary going over the road when it pops up from heat in the summer.
If everything is tight then start replacing stuff. Start with those bushings. They're only a couple bucks each. If that doesn't work then look at suspension components, the axle, axle shaft, wheel bearings. Something is worn out and shaking your rear back and forth. Check everything one at a time and figure it out through elimination.
