Not trying to bash on you, just out of curiosity, why are you looking to do either of these??? Are you looking at doing it for a safety thing, or a security thing or what??

I need it for security, especially because my ignition lock cylinder now turns without a key. I've been wanting to do this for a while
Do the fuel pump, it takes less in the way of switches and stuff and will only have to handle a few amps
