This is a question and not a showing and tell post. I'm in the market for a pneumatic saw. Is there a name brand better in quality over others?

I've got a chicago pneumatic 1/2" drive impact that is 31 years old this year, still works. I've used it under water before, no problems after proper cleaning. I also have a blue point 1/4" drive rachet that I used everyday for over ten years while working on outboard motors, still works. I'm not sure about the current market.

Ingersoll-Rand makes the best air tools.
In my opinion, I think it depends on how much you plan on using it. I can't see spending a lot of money for something your only going to use once or twice a year. for example I have a air chisel from northern I paid 12 bucks for. I had it for 3 years and used it about 10 times. My socket and ratchet set I use almost everyday is a collection of snapon and craftsman.
BTW I use a electric sawzall.. but my impact is a craftsman that belonged to my father It's over 30 years old and still works flawless.
Please give us a review of whatever you decide.
One more part and I'll have a new Jeep
