    Default SERIOUS fishermen

Two bass fishermen, Earl and Hank, were fishing next a bridge one day.

As they were casting and reeling their lures, a funeral precession began to pass slowly over the bridge.

Earl, without any hesitation, laid down his fishing rod, jumped up from his seat, and removed his hat. He remained at attention, hat in hand, with his head bowed until the entire precession had gone by. He then put his cap back on his bald head, picked up his rod, sat back down and made a long cast toward the bridge.

Hank was astounded and said, "Earl, I've fished with you every weekend for the past fifteen years. I've never seen you do anything so respectful. That was really somethin'."

Earl slowly nodded his head and replied, "Well, hell, Hank. It was the least I could do. I was married to the woman for almost twenty five years."

About how it is for some diehard serious fishermen... especially those that do it as a profession!!
