Ok so I got my ac fixed and flipped it on and the volt meter drops down to almost 10v and the ignition switch gets hott and one time smoked. Anyone else had this issue? Just thought it was odd and is only bad when the blower is on high.

Add a ground strap from negative on battery to a good clean spot on the engine block and one to the header panel. Should take care of your issues. Good luck

The battery cables coming from the engine to battery and from battery to body are 0g cable and i added a ground cable on the drivers side of the engine to the body.
How is that fan motor? Getting hot too?

I read somewhere that the wiring behind the dash that operates the fans for heating and cooling become insufficient as the fan motor ages and start to heat up during use. My voltage drops everytime I put my fan on high and you can feel the dash heat if it's been on for a while. I don't know how to fix it but I try not to run the fan too hard for too long just in case.
There is a 20 or 25 amp fuse on that circuit, can't remember which. Typically, the fan switch or the resistor fails. Kind of a poor design really. Something else to check, alternator output being sufficient to cover the amperage needed. 25 amps is a chunk.

The ac fan is new and the heater fan is oe. If I flip it from ac to heat the volt goes back up. I just don't run it on high.
I don't know. I would have to have it here to figure it out.
