Lena went to the local newspaper. “I want to put a notice in the paper: ‘Ole died.’”

“That’s terrible,” said the editor. “But don’t you want the full obituary, Lena?”

“No, no,” said Lena, “just a notice. Two words: ‘Ole died.’”

“Fine,” said the editor, “but there’s a five-word minimum, so you can add three more words. Is there anything else you might want to say?”

Lena said, “Okay. Make it: ‘Ole died, boat for sale.’”
