Howdy, my name is Todd and I just pick up a '92 XJ for a little father / son project. It needs a little love to get back up to full speed but should be a fun project. This will be our first Jeep and I am sure we will need lots of pointers.

Thanks for the welcome. I am sure there will lots of questions as we get farther into this project.

We spent most of today identifying some of the "hinky" stuff the PO did to the little Jeep. Hopefully we can make some real progress tomorrow setting things straight.

Yeah that is always the fun part of having a project, fixing the stuff the PO messed up.. Thankfully not too much of that with my my XJ, but am helping (more like doing) a friend fix a lot of messed up stuff the PO did on the 90 XJ he just picked up..

Father son projects are great. We have one too. Took it out yesterday and the boy (age 35) had a blast.
