    Default Samco XDB coolant hose??

    Ok to start I have a 2000 xj 4.0 inline-6, Im looking for Silicone coolant hose for it. i found this at quadratec

    but they dont show my make/model. Any idea if this would work for me?

    Sounds like yo make your own from scratch. Also sounds expensive. I used stainless steel braided line from Summit Racing. Cheaper and tough

    I think you would like the SS braid better. much better on abrasion resistance, and it lasts longer as a bonus. AN Bungs for radiator are easy to get and braze in if you have an all aluminum radiator, otherwise just use the clamps. When I was racing, parts like hoses, belts, and other rubber items were replaced after every race. I've always used Aeroquip SS hoses with AN fittings every where, they work great, look great and last a minimum of four years.
