Default Chopped Up Broken Axle Beat Up Toy

So... here's my Jeep. I mainly just need somewhere to put pics and I enjoy the commentary.

Started with this, I was planning to chop the top and paint it safety yellow.

As I was pulling the interior I spied this:

    Sweet!

    Anyways... here goes nothing!

Can't turn back now I suppose!

    Aaaand some more snip snip....

    And it's off!

So I take it out from under the trees and start sanding and whatnot... and I go to start rolling on the paint and DOH!, I accidentally managed to grab my can of paint thinner instead of denatured alcohol to prep with so all of the paint turned into bubbles and ran off.

Of course this means I need to go wheeling! Unfortunately I didn't get any wheeling pics because about 10 minutes in I broke my passenger side axle. Har de har har har....

So pretty much I need to weld up the holes in the back and my buddy is fabbing up a small rear cage portion for me and we're going to fix that quarter panel. Oh, and I should probably fix that axle lol.

Lolol except the wheel is just about to fall off. The entire hub assembly pulls back and forth almost an inch.

No problem, that makes for multiple choice steering. Kind of like taking a test in grade school. Take your best guess and go with it.

I'm going to leave it open. We debated cutting the back of a comanche cab to fill it but decided not to. I pretty much only use this vehicle to play in. I just keep it legal so I can use it for towing and whatnot. The best part is now I can shove a 4 wheeler back there lol.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It takes some nerve to run that saw across it, even when its just a toy like mine. There will be a cross bar welded in the back, yes.

I think I'm gonna sell this one. Work on another. I don't mind upgrades its just all the repair I have to do after working on other cars all day that's annoying. Let it go for 500 if anyone wants it.
