Interior lights

Ok I have asked this before I think.Somehow the PO did something to the wiring and they only come on once the key is turned to the on position. It's not that big of a deal but sometimes it does get on my nerves early in the morning when I'm goin to work and cant see and crack my head on top of door. Is there someway of figuring out what they did or do I need to have the wiring pulled and see that way?

Nah mate. They do come on once key is turned so they do work just tired of tryin to knock myself out at 3am in the mornin

It's a mystery that's for sure. But as an old boss of mine always said, "Did ya check for grounds." Possibly the dome lights are only getting a path to ground through some thing that is being turned on with the ignition. I know it's a long shot but easy enough to check.
