    Default XJ Down Under

OK guys, thought I would start a thread here for my wheeling pics. I'm in Brisbane Australia and have bee wheeling for 8 years. This is my first Jeep and I love it. The mods you can do, and the parts you can get from the States make it a constant build

This is a pic from my favourite wheeling spot called the Glasshouse Mountains. Note I have stock suspension and 245x75x16 Maxxis Bighorns.

    Default Lifts In Queensland Australia

The lift laws here are under review, and have been for years. They are trying to get national laws for the whole country.

Currently we are allowed 50mm spring lift and 50mm body lift. No chassis on an XJ so I guess that means 50mm suspension only.

We can only have 15mm bigger tyres.

So I have two sets of tyres, one for wheeling and one for daily driving.

Here is the Jeep flexing after a 4" lift done today. Total cost 50. Got given 2" front springs, got 2" spacers (50) and add a leaf from an old spring pack.

That trail looks awesome, as does the performance of the stock setup... Nice flex on that new 4" lift as well..

Thanks. The tyres scrubed most on the top of the front guard with the 245's (31's) and stock suspension. I also trimed the rear guard above the mud flap, which is not there lol

The fosters here is made by molson of canada. We don't get kb lager any more we called it the oil can when you could get it.
