Im thinking that manual windows would work better for my xj. Is it easy to convert or should I just look for 2 doors that are already manual?

Yes you can convert it with the stock parts. They are held in by 1/4" rivets. You will need to drill the rivets out. Use 1/4X1/2" allen screws with nylock nuts in their place. I have done the reverse, manual to power.
