Are your trips graded?

Hey when you lot have a get together say as a club or as a group, do you have gradings for your 4 wheeling trips?
The reason I ask is over in OZ most clubs and other activities have graded trips and they are graded from A = the hardest to D or E as something you could take a car on.
But they always add, say for an A graded trip you got to have as a minimum 33', lockers front and rear and lifted at least 2".
I find it strange that if you don't have these mods then you can't go.
No saying you take people who don't have a clue but?
What's others think?

Around here we have both. We have some trails just for the Lifted and mod crowd and we have some that are for both with some side trails on those for the lifted ones to challenge their vehicles.

Basically around here I would say it is locked and unlocked. Not much in between.

The places that are more challenging in my area (state) rely on a color code....

Like Crozet for instance has a system of . . .

Low Blues:
- 31" tires (not street tread)
- Tow points front and rear of vehicle
- Rocker protection and skid plates recommended

Middle/Upper Blues with (optional) Low Black Bypasses:
- 33" tires
- Tow points front and rear of vehicle
- Rocker protection and skid plates recommended

Low Blacks:
- 35" tires
- Front and rear lockers
- Tow points front and rear of vehicle
- Rocker protection and skid plates recommended
- Body and/or drive train damage is likely

Upper Blacks/Reds:
- Minimum 35" tires
- Front and rear lockers
- Full frame tied-in roll cage (6 or more points)
- A total disregard for body damage
- Helmets
- A trailer to tow your rig home
- A few screws loose in your head

Big Dogs in Gore, Va. have a number system such as . . .

Trail rides 1 and 2 : 36 new beginner trails. Stock vehicles.

Trail rides 3 and 4 : Stock to lower intermediate. A little larger tire and a slight lift

Trail rides 5 thru 7 : Intermediate to advanced intermediate, 33" or larger agressive tires, locker(s) very beneficial

Trail rides 8 & 9 : Mandatory Equipment: Winch, 35” or larger aggressive tread tires, front/rear locking differentials.

Trail rides 10 & 11 : Mandatory Equipment: Winch, 35” or larger aggressive tread tires, front/rear locking differentials. EXPECT BODY AND DRIVE TRAIN DAMAGE

These are the only two "parks" that I know of in Va. both privately owned and operated.
As far as other trail systems go... its pretty much either "stock friendly" or "moderate to challenging". When our group gets together we usually go by the # system like BigDogs....

um well...i would like to say in alaska we do,but we dont..it basically is boogs,tundra and silt(lift and 31's highly recommended,winch and stow strapsgood to have) and then dirt and mud(at's or m/t and 4wd drive) there arnt groomed trails here..you go and find and ride eh
