The Liberal Professor

At sociology class the other day the professor stood at the front of the class and stated, "Lord, if you are real, strike me down, NOW!" After standing there a while, he stated, "LORD, I do not believe in you and you are providing me proof that you do not exist, it has been two minutes and I am still standing here!"

At this a young Marine who just returned from Afghanistan got up went to the front of the class and knocked the professor out cold.

When the professor awoke he asked the Marine, "Why in the he!! did you do that?" The Marine responded, "Well, the Lord is busy protecting our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, so he sent me!"
