    ??? for u guys. when i bought my jeep in march last year i could unlock the hatch with the key. a month later it was frozen and wouldnt unlock. is there any thing to do to help unstick the lock( ive tried wd-40) and if not how hard is it to change the lock piece. it still locks and unlocks when i do it with the power locks so im not really worried. but still it would be nice especially at the store. oh and i have a 95

    Hose it with white lithium grease, have a new key key and flutter the key,... Usually unsticks them

    if you can take the door panel off clean off the old lub from the linkage then put a small amount back on. Most people never lub there auto locks so the grease drys up and works moore like glue. if you lub you locks twice a year
    they would last a long time.if you dry out and you fours them it will strip or bend or brake something.
