My love did not start

Yesterday my XJ did not start .
Just the startermotor did not rotate, the rest seamed OK.

During my investigation I found the starter relay. It is the same as the shut down relay. I changed positions and started. In this case the starter motor turned but it seamed there was no ignition.

Bought a new relay today (8 Euro ) and we where back in business.
