Sounds like the trackbar bracket at the frame. tighten theoutta it and carry on.
mine is starting to pop and I can see clean metal where the bracket is moving. I'll git er tight tomorrow. If you are looking at a replacement, IRO has a decent deal on HD trackbar and bracket for under 2 bills.
