High Beam Headlight Problem

Od I had the same problem after I took a cutting torch to the inside of fenders on my truck and after the first side I saw my carpet on fire inside after I put it out I saw the insulation dripping and my lights did the same thing. I was 16 then and I did pull the carpet back on other side first. Duh.
Get cheap dielectric grease in sprinkler section of hardwear store if you have one there. It's used on wire nuts of solenoid valve. And check out your speedo 200?, that was nasty in there nice clean up.
