230 hp 4.3L Chevy
Built 4L60E with manual lockout
Atlas 4 speed
Griffin radiator
On board air
Warn 9.5ti on custom bumper
7.5" RE front and bastard pack rear on custom long arms
30 gal gas tank
lockers
And a bunch of other stuff
Try to keep track of the balls and pins, when I did mine I think the fsm did not mention where one ball went, this ended up in letting the tranny push the 5th gear fork but not pull it out, it was easy to miss, and fairly easy to fix once you figured out that you missed one. But it could have just been me.

Yes, keep track of that stuff. Also helpful to lay parts out in order of disassembly on a bench or cardboard on the floor. Then assemble your way down the line

I was on top of keeping parts straight...
Picked up a divider box with 1"^2 and 2"^2 boxes
...and ziplock for larger stuff.
As well as a clear plastic pain tray liner to catch misc parts.
= Which caught a stray ball. Which is why I was asking.
Otherwise it looks like to skinny pins in the rods and 2 fat pins in the plate holding the rods.
I'm optimistic I'll figure it out...but thought if the fsm had better detail, you could always hook me up

Had to stop by the drug store to pick up some petroleum jelly.
The instructions were right that it makes assembly easier...
Is you slather up your balls and shaft before sliding them in the hole
