Alright fellas. I found these 17x9 Mickey Thompson Classic II rims for sale in my area for 50. Is this a good deal? And, what do you think about them?
Thanks all.

I like the style of them but are the 17" tires way more expensive than the 15" ones?
Hey bubba get your hand off my ass,
Some days it is just not worth it to gnaw through the leather restraints.

Yeah, that's what i'm worried about right now. I can find some cheap-o's on craigslist but.. Either that or buy and resell.

Don't trust my opinion. Check Tirerack.com or some of the places like 4WDH or your local tire shop. I have never owned any 17"ers.

The 17s are almost always more expensive. I really don't understand this since they have less rubber in them.
Great price on the wheels but personally I like more rubber than wheel.
Thats all true. And sence i'm a stocker still, it may look like a ricer or something. What about resale? If I baught them for 50 and cleaned them up real nice, polish and all of that jazz. What do you think I could get for them? Online they are around 150 per wheel.

My guess would be 50 each after cleaning and polishing.

I agree. 50 each, I mean if they were 15" wheels that would be a steal!
So, that would be a 150 profit. Not too shabby. Thanks for the help!

I'd buy them and resell them. 17" tires are much more expensive than 15" tires, and unless you're running 36" or 37" tires, you're going to want to stick to a 15" or 16" rim. And trust me, stick with the 15" rim... even 16's are too expensive. Ask me how I know

True true. I've been looking around at tires and they are wayy too expensive. The guy had already sold them anyway. But, thanks for all of the tips.
