Center console

Anyone know a supplier for center console covers? Looking at a 96 but the console top is broken and flops around. I've checked quadratic and 4wd etc and other mainstream places but can't find one.

That is a part I would source at at wrecking yard. What color do you need. I have a grey one

Now when you say the top is broken and flops around... is it that the top is broken, or the hinge or even the lower screw points for the hinger are broken, causing it to flop around?? I only ask cause I know I've seen the screw pull threw the lower portion of the console, and I've seen the hinge destroyed and just needing it to be replace..

It seems to rock on the hinges and there is no latch to keep it from coming up. This is my first XJ, I'm a JK Wrangler guy (2015 Rubicon) and Sahara before that and the consoles locked on those. Buying the XJ for my 16 year old and I to share.

Broken or missing latch is common on them. Mine on my 98 was wobbling too tightened up the screwa and got a jy latch

If the latch is broken, you will need to get another at a wrecking yard. They are only plastic. You can get any that will fit and change the padded top over to it

Sometimes the screw holes get wallowed out. Try a screw slightly larger in there if that's the case.
