Keep being towed for the 2nd time

This month. I didn't drive it yesterday. But going to work today. I was in traffic and it started idle rough. Then check engine light came on. If I was only the brake at a stop. The vehicle would lunge & idle would choke. If I put it in neutral. It was fine. After dropping off the kid, I got back onto the freeway. It wouldn't let me go too fast. So I pulled off and waiting for a tow. Might be time for a JK.

I'm still waiting on a tow. It's been 2.5 hours. Good times.

I'd say do the key trick if nothing else and see what codes it gives off... I'm sure it's something randomly stupid... It'd take a lot to get me out of an XJ and into a JK... Now a CJ/YJ or TJ on the other hand... LOL

I was kiddin about the JK. I'd never want 700 car payments. Besides I'd take a toyota over a JK.
Turns out it was the O2 sensor. I kinda thought it was. It's one of 2 or 3 sensors I haven't replaced. But it's the 2nd time it's left me stranded this month.
And ever since putting in the new gears & drive shaft. I'm getting this howling sound and it's louder the faster I go
