Default 2" budget boost for my '88 XJ

Made it to Texas and settled in. I need to replace the shocks on my stock '88 XJ, two of them are broken. I want to put in a 2" budget boost when I do it. Rocky Road sells the kit that includes 4 shocks for app. 300. This is my daily driver. I don't rock climb or anything wild, but I do like to go camping in back country areas. Is there a cheaper alternative? Does anyone have any experience good or bad with Rocky Road? I want something safe and reliable. Thanks!

It will work. 300 for a lift is about as cheap as it gets unless you start sourcing wrecking yard parts
    230 hp 4.3L Chevy
    Built 4L60E with manual lockout
    Atlas 4 speed
    Griffin radiator
    On board air
    Warn 9.5ti on custom bumper
7.5" RE front and bastard pack rear on custom long arms
    30 gal gas tank
    lockers
And a bunch of other stuff
