Chances are if they were vegan they wouldn't be doing anything dangerous enough to need stitches. don't hear of too many gruesome accidents during yoga and drum circles.
As for your cholesterol...i believe the membrane is part of the good cholesterol. seeing as they switch what is good or bad for you in an egg every few years there is no telling if it will be good or bad for you next voting cycle.
