I used .125 sheet metal from ACE...cost5.79 for a square foot. It was so close to the same thickness I couldn't tell the difference if there was one. Was right at the edge of what my little Lincoln would do tho. I really need (want!) a bigger welder. Oh Santa!!!! Are you listening? LOL
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it's fixed, go break it!
