    Default Rear brakes

getting ready to purchase a G2 dana 60 rear axle setup with 456 ring & pinion and arb locker. Here is the thing its sold two ways 1st is where you re use your stock drums, mine are the 9 inch set up. Would I be able to get and install the 10 inch set up fairly cheap or would it be better to get the axle set up with the disc brake setup? The price difference is only 300 more for the disc setup. If you buy the terra flex conversion the parts are 600 alone then you need to add your labor or a shops. I'm going to buy the setup from 4wd hardware. My problem is this I have heard mixed opinions on witch is stronger or more stopping and holding power, properly working 10 inch drums or the disc set up from terra flex. As I'm not sure what size disc setup comes on the pre setup dana 60 I don't know what to do.Know this at times I pull a trailer that can weigh upwards of 3500 lbs

Any XJ brake should fit it if it utilizes stock backing plates and drums. It that is the case, I would look at the ZJ rear disc set up which can be gotten fairly cheap out of a wrecking yard

X2 I just don't like dealing with drums as much, discs are a lot easier with less parts to fail.
