XJ 98 USA lighting question....

Hi guys and gals

I have a question, I've seen some XJs where the turn signals light up with the headlights, how does that work with a different relay in the system or something? I know its an odd question but I want to turn my European spec XJ into US spec, including seats, lights (side markers and turn signals and rear lamps), but keeping some of the European features like small turn signals on the fenders.

any ideas or help people?

Mainly yes but in some photos the turn signals under the headlights light up with the headlights.

I don't know if I ever paid attention to that on my own, but all you need is a dual filament bulb with the dim filament wired into the side marker light which should come on with the head lights and the bright side remaining on the signal wire

It is just a dual filament light bulb in orange. Like the ones used in tail lights for decades. One filament is smaller and one larger. Smaller is for tail lights and larger for brake lights. In this case it needs to be orange and wired the same way
