    A guy by the name of xjtrailrider on Va offroad motorsports(link in my sig.) put a set of ZJ discs on the rear of his XJ and it has the 8.25. Sort of a bolt on deal. Putting a set on a 35 would be a bolt on deal and a 44 shouldn't be a problem since ZJs came with 44a the center section is alum. but the axle tubes are the same as a 44 and I think 8.25 are the same size. When xjtrailrider did his, he had to hone out the backing plate that holds the parking brake and drill a hole or 2.
