    Default Brake Pads on incorrectly

Hey guys, I was going through my new Cherokee tonight making sure everything is in working order and I came across this (see pic). Is it just me or did the guy who installed these pads last install them on the wrong sides of the car? The side of the pad with the two ears is on the top and the one eared side is on the bottom. I referenced both the 1999 Jeep Cherokee service manual as well as my Haynes Manual, both show the two eared side on the bottom. Am I crazy?
