So my girl still has stock suspension, but that doesn't usually stop me from trying out a mud hole. Which has never really gotten me into trouble until recently. My family and I were out enjoy the weather about a month ago, went to the park, etc. When we were done I wanted to drive on this road next to a river called Meramac Bottom Road. Everything is usually muddy which besides plenty of woods is why I like taking it. We were about completely through the area when I saw this.

I thought it doesn't look to deep I will try it, besides it looks like someone has went through it already. It should be easy. Next thing I know right foot still on the gas, all the sudden we stop moving. So I stick it in reverse, back into drive, and then reverse again nothing happened. So I got out I went around the back, and I could see the mud underneath. Then I looked over at the rear wheels there was nothing but water. I stuck my hand down in the water next to my driver's side rear, and the water came up to my elbow that is when I knew what happened. I was high centered.
So I go tell my wife we need a tow truck she was not happy at all. Mainly because we needed that money because we were moving in two days.
But in the end I did have fun, and looking back it she said she did too. This also helped me convince her to start saving for a lift though too
