It's finally time for the Jeep to get regeared but it currently has the LP D30. We picked up a 99 with a HP D30 a while back and so my question is...how difficult is it to swap one for the other?? The place that's doing the gearing wanted ~600 to do the swap and that just seemed crazy.

Are there any helpful tips? Anything major to keep an eye on? Does it completely knock the steering out of whack?
