    Default Automatic trans slipping?

Hi everyone, this is my first post so bear with me. I have a 96 xj country and probably about a week or so after buying the jeep it started jumping now it feels like I'm losing alot of power during acceleration. So I was wondering if there is anything else I should be looking. I change my fluids regularly and I checked my throttle cable. Any known problems anyone knows of please let me know.thanks for the help!

O2 sensor new? If not I would suggest starting there unless you see the tach rising and falling to much while accelerating and decelerating.

If your O2 sensor has not ever been replaced or it has been a long time, then it needs to be. They wear out over time. It determines fuel air mixture and is critical to keep the engine running right.

O2 sensors are tune up parts that are never changed when the tune up is done.
