I just went out to try this. My connector is different. The one in the link is for an 89. Of course they would change it. Currently still looking around trying to figure it out. If anyone has any idea how to test this I'd appreciate it.

The input is 4.7 the out put was 4.6
i move it slowly the out put now is 4.2
is it good ???? please help

Not an expert but I'm going to guess no. From what I could tell in searching before I replaced mine, it should be a smooth transition from around 5 to almost 0. If you aren't getting any change I would guess it's bad. Mine was35 for a 93, so I figured it was worth the money to check it.
