    Default Steering shaft

So I'm trying to replace the steering shaft. On the inside of the cab on/in the firewall there is a rubber boot to protect outside elements from coming inside the cabin.
I'm assuming this boot is to be reused therefore the shaft would have to pulled out from inside the cabin? I'm not sure that rubber boot can just slide off to be
reused on the new steering shaft.
    Thanks for your help.

I got the Borgeson steering shaft. Seems they didn't have it all together with this one. Got a new one on the way. Nice folks to work with. Very friendly.
