Since you were screwing with it and not taking proper measurements/adjustments I would look at the tps first. I'm leaning towards cps though, they like to quit when hot.
For the ho tbody on renix? I know how to do that, and it's not worth it.
Your post made it sound like you adjusted your tps with the engine running and without any measurements taken, which isNOT...
I don't understand what you're trying to say...
The tps is adjusted with the engine OFF and a multimeter or scanner... :poke:
HO tb swap would be a pita and isn't worth the hassle, just buy a bored renix one.
Almost sounds like your iac is acting up... it can get sticky, soak it in carb cleaner and spray it out good with air.
There is a vacuum activated shutter on the "snout" of the airbox.
The...
Its normal for a renix to take ~5 sec to start.
High idle is usually caused by vacuum leaks.
Hmm... Not that big of a deal, I just thought it was interesting since there isnt much happening around here.
I did get it uploaded to youtube though.

Btw. I'm using this powered antenna with the gain turned all the way up. Works pretty good. Lol

Exactly 400mhz
So... What did I find at 400mhz DSB, and is there a way to decrypt it?

Take the doors off. Problem solved, no money spent.
Mine doesn't get super hot inside, even with the doors on.
Flange adaptor?
I just used the stock yoke and a 1330/1310 ujoint.
The switch is on the cold side of the radiator. Obviously there is quite a temperature drop from the back of the head where the gauge sender is, through the radiator and then to the fan switch.
Im...
I was wrong...
Sounds like it was working right with the AC on.
The thing in the radiator isnt a sender, it is a thermal switch. Senders have variable resistance according to certain temperatures.

Your gauge might be a little off too. At an indicated 210* my engine temp is actually 195 according to the cts.
Temp sender for the gauge is in the very back of the head, so it'll read a little high...
iirc renix uses a hex head instead of torx.
Here is what you need, you can look at my other writeups too.

Get rid of the abs.
I gravity bleed my brakes.
My understanding is that the MC has to seal against the booster or youll get a vacuum leak and hard pedal. Dont know if it would work or not. Guess Ill have to pull my MC out and put the WJ one on to...
New question..
Will a wj master bolt up and work with my 97 booster?
That is the federal emissions sticker, your jeep originally had a 2.5 in it.
The year on that sticker is the model year. (The year it is titled, registered, etc as)
Year doesn't really matter,...
That's what I'm doing to mine when I get OBA done. Hook it up to a solenoid with the stock horn wiring.
