No I didn't install it over an other cover so no gap. Also I. tac welded it to a welding table to keep it from warping then cut it lose and cleaned it up before powder coating it.
I made one for my d30 like this out of a stock cover too then had a friend powdercoat it for me.

Also when hooking up the track bar hook everything up in the front but the frame side bolt. Then use the steering to line up the last bolt it saves time tryn to use straps and stuff.
Mine used to do this where the turn sigs would stop working. It tured out to be the pug on just one right hand turn sig grounding out in the plug. I tried cleaning it and everything but that didnt...

Its not that hard to mod them I did a set in 1 hour and I hadnt done a set before they are so much nicer.

Those are awsome and for what they are they look like the best out there only thing better is metal. Your right those look like the sheet metal becomes the weak link.
