on it's own power as of last night. Had brake line issuses that took allday to
remedy and multiple trips to parts...

It was late last night when we got finshed so didn't get around to checkin
compression again. Kid asked if I had the tools to pressurise the cylinder for a leak down
witch I do just ran out of...
Found the miss after checking the valves and replacing the valve cover gasket.
It was a bad wire between the ecm and injector. so we just ran another wire
and it runs GREAT... Nice and smooth
...
watching this thread close because I got one that is unplugged also, but
it's on the firewall between washer resivour and motor. Doen't look like its ever
been hooked up might be a factory left...
Will check that out this weekend when I cahnge the valvecover gasket.

hmmm didn't think about that. Will add that to things to check.
Looks like it needs a new valvecover gasket anyway.
I have 150 psi on all but cylinder 4 its 100 and 4 is firing according to the plugs.
No. 3 is not, threw new plugs, cap, rotor, and wires at it found firing order was
off by 2 wires but still got...
I think your supposed to break an engine in on regular oil then switch to synthetic..
might want to check on that

I've used ATF on siezed engines just poured in spark plug hole and gotten them to free up after sitting a couple days
You'll find that most of your old truck drivers and mechanics used this method of bead sealing
because the older diesel engines need starting fluid to start when they sat to long or got real cold....
