I used to run both, but now just a rear.
Depending on which locker your running you could take damage to a front ujoint more easily than a rear axleshaft. (tight turn wedged tire)

I had also wanted to reroute the airhose on my ARB, although i never had issues with it contacting the tire. I had come across a guy...
Any small repair shop should have a tubing cutter and flaring tool. It shouldnt cost you much if anything to walk in and ask them to cut (for length) and flare one end of the hardline.
