That is like the nightly prayer of XJ owners :bang::pray::D
Fill it up cold and start it. Let it warm up and look into the coolant resevior with a flash light, Bubbles = head gasket. Easiest way to check.
Ok so the brake booster corrected my no pedal issues, but now my shift interlock is not working... more details to follow :bang:
Glad your coming home thats awesome!! As a matter of fact we are planning an overnight trip the 16th and 17th. Next weekend if anyone wants to go to Uwharrie meet at 7001 E. W.T. Harris Charlotte, NC...
I get about half a pedal when not running, I think that is mostly due to the fact there is alot of slop in the pedal assmbly (being fixed) as soon as I start the jeep all pressure goes away. I can...

Is this what you are looking for?
I talked to my parts guy at the Jeep dealer and he said they have different part numbers but both have been discontinued... JY part may be an option but its a chance.
I thought this as well...
I have had a tech in the jeep while I'm underneath it.... pump, hold, crack the bleeder screw. it will build some pressure when it's not running... I have tested the brake booster and it tests good....
My Jeep has been sitting at my shop for weeks now. I have tinkered with it off and on between customer vehicles and on slow days. I have a trip planned for the weekend of the 15th and need to get my...
if only I lived in Texas!! would you ship the rack and how much to 28215
Yeah you pay a dollar and go in and pull your own stuff. Been a few weeks since I have been because of work but last time I was there they had about 10 XJ's and 6 or 7 Wranglers. It's on North Tryon...
Is it used to install the plugs in whiskey barrels??
Thanks Hooked! I'll try this out as soon as I buy a new deck!
I would like the 84-01, my current set up is no stereo, and no factory harness... just pulled wires lol think I stand a chance?? :D
The ZJ rod is solid and thicker where as the XJ rod is hollow and thinner,
I think it would look really good done right. The only concern I would have is the air flow to the radiator, considering the notorious cooling issues the XJ already has.
I just Downloaded TiKL as well... gonna check it out later today and see how it does.
When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter? Sometimes it's the small inexpensive overlooked things that are the issue. Just a thought, hope it helps. Good luck getting it fixed!
Double check your vacuum lines as well. I'm not sure if you have the same Throttle Body but there is a vacuum line on the valve cover side on the bottom (pic below) I have forgot this a couple times....
Thanks Chip! This is a great link for me (don't wheel as often as I'd like) I tend to overlook little things like this from time to time :stars:
:welcome: to xjtalk Thats a good looking rig ya got there! Thanks for the pics!
Got my Inspire two days ago and love it! I finally figured out how to kill running apps so the battery life is improving slowly lol Just gotta make sure I dont kill the wrong thing:shocker:
The...
It's basically a plug and play for a 90, same year I have, just make sure the vacuum lines and IPS (Idle Position Sensor), TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) are hooked up and you should be good to go.
