    won't be a ton of wheeling and when I go it'll be clear cut/logging roads. no real crawling on the family property.

    Thanks everyone! I'm proud of it and I don't even have it in the driveway yet. I've never had a Jeep above 4" of lift, so I'm hoping to still have the dependability and logevity that I have loved...

    Thanks!! And thanks for the info on the tires. Because I am going to be driving it, I was hesitant and almost swapped out for some BFG ATs. Decided I didn't want to mess with the look.

    Utilitarian Jeep... short daily commute, camp rig, mild off-roading (logging roads, no crawling), kayaking, camping.... on and on

    I had figured on that... common practice with these. It'll take me a little bit with the purchase price. it's a semi resto/mod from a local shop. lots of work put into it. I'll post some pics...

    I had never been told that. I'm hoping to stay in the 16-18mpg range with it. that's what I was getting with the 92 and can't afford to go much worse...

    The fans appear to be completely functional, I did hear the clutch(es) kicking in and out. The shrouds are missing though... may have to go junkyard diving for those.

    I'm chasing the issue with the heater blower. The battery was 7 years old, in PA cold winters that's about 45 dog years. I don't feel that the blower not working would be drawing on the battery

    I don't feel that the cupping is going to resolve itself and from what I have been reading... I don't see where anyone else has had much luck in it either. So... off to have some BFG Rugged Terrains...

    The Bilsteins certainly helped, once the tire cupping smooths out I should be set there. Next I'm ditching the rough ride rough country coils for some 3.5-4"...
