I'll throw mine up. It's a 02' wj with a 2.5" lift for now. I'm going to be putting together a 3.5 for it next month.

Sorry guys for taking so long to post some more pics but I did a little more work to the roof. I was able to get the two large dents above the windshield almost completely out. I just hit them with...
Another way to check to see if it's maintaining fuel pressure in the line is turn the key to on but don't start, wait about 5 seconds and shut it off. Do this two more times and on the last time try...
Thanks again guys, I'll have to get some more pics up tonight when I get home. I kind of figured that I wasn't going to be able to get all of that dent out above the door but as long as the new glass...
Thanks. Yeah I told her she didn't have to drive it anymore but she said after seeing what it can take thats all she wants to drive now. I think once this is all fixed and painted I'm going to lose...
About two weeks ago I get a call at work and my wife said she just wrecked the XJ. She was on a back road that wasn't real well maintained, hit a small patch of ice, and ended up in a field. Luckily...
Very possible. An upstream o2 could easily cause a rough idle. What is it idling at? Almost sounds like it's idling really low or has a mis.
How much did you say you found the kit for, and from where? I'm in the same boat, no keyless. I'll definately be watching this. Thanks.
Yeah it looks like all of those codes(even p1899) reference the nss. Once you fix what they "modified" you should be good.
I haven't done shocks on the XJ in awhile. I thought the nut was welded to the shock mount and bolt is what you unbolt and remove. I'll have to pull a tire and look. I could be getting the wj and xj...
It sounds like they might have given you parts for the wrong year, maybe the 97' and up. Try Napa they tend to have better parts anyway. As far as the lower shock bolts you might want to have someone...
Up and to the right of the hood release.
I've had these go in the past. The flexplate could be fine with loose bolts and tick like that. If you do have to replace it the process isn't to bad, just a little time consuming. You don't have to...
I'm not a real big tranny guy but could it be a clogged filter?
Sounds like a broken belt or a defect in one of the fronts. I know you said you had the tires checked but maybe switch your front and backs just to be sure.
For hand tools I've been buying alot of pittsburgh stuff from harbor freight lately. I've used them alot and haven't broken one yet and they have a lifetime warranty. I use to buy craftsman, snap on,...
Just a thought on the mis. Do you have the heat shield between the intake and the fuel rail? I've seen heat soak cause similar problems.
My friend had a 99' xj doing crazy stuff like this. Turned out to be his altenator.
