no clue other than I live in C. texas where we just had 70+ days of 100+ degree weather. It's also a daily driver. I just got it about 4 months ago and the guy I got it from put cheap pads on it....
I was pretty sure it was going to be hot-spotted (warped) rotors but wanted to make sure. Didn;t know if it was related to the death wobble problem Ive seen referenced a few times. Thanks:D
so, going down the road at 60+ and I step ont eh brake. The steering wheel immediately goes to shaking like driving over an old country road..BAD!!! I suspect it is hot spots on the rotors but it...
pretty much my plan exactly, hopefully sunday I can get a little time to tear it apart.
Cold?.....what is this cold you speak of? :D

Ohh yeah, shipped to 78749
so, I searched the forums here but couldn't find anything. What year did the XJ's start getting antilock brakes? My build sheet doesn't reference them at all but I have all the fuse/relay sockets on...
it's not really necessary to "run" the fluid out as the factories designed them to serviced this way but it can't hurt as long as your careful not to run it low and burn up the clutches/bands......TC
I don't know if anyone has touched on this but the convertor holds several quarts of fluid as well that isn't changed during a routine fluid+gasket servicing. Some old ford/mopars had a drain plug...
