Hey guys,
I'm going to be listing my Jeep up for sale on Craigslist in the next few days. I'm gonna put the details up here first because I'd much rather my Jeep went to someone on this forum.
...
the drama may not yet be over. just went for a test drive and was aghast to see my now working temp gauge jump almost immediately to the edge of the "red zone". i drove it around the neighborhood...
Okay so apparently it's been nearly a year since I broke the stupid temp sensor. My apologies to anyone that's been waiting to hear progress.
I finally went back at it a few months ago. I...
Very nice!
For what it's worth, I'm running 32" BFG KM2s on a 3" BDS lift. Even with this tire lift combo you'll need to do a little bit of trimming. Like Jim and Dave said earlier, if you go bigger you'll...
We'd love to come but we'll be up in Dallas for a mud run that weekend. Hopefully we'll catch you next time around!
I agree. It should be illegal to detain them. I'd prefer my tax dollars be spent in providing the cheapest most uncomfortable transportation as possible back to their home country. If you want to...
Looks solid Saar! Great work!
Yes they are! They're the ones I posted for sale on the forum... without pictures. They are in great shape and look awesome on a stock XJ but they're too small for my lift.
I just performed this swap too. Your part numbers look right to me. The oil pressure was PS233VC and the water temp was TU236.
Fingers crossed the guy makes good.
If he doesn't, I'd request delivery of what he's done and get some beer & pizza, find a friend with a welder and knock that sucker outta the park!
Is it being made of pure unobtanium? You have the patience of a saint my friend! Is there no way to cut your losses, recoup whatever money you can and move on to that JCR bumper?
the new tires look awesome babe! Your YJ has come a long way! :)
How about tires today? :)
I'm sure the other guys will chime in here if I'm wrong but I'll give this one a shot.
The "select trac" refers to the type of transfer case you have in the Jeep. You probably have the NP242...
Quality of JCR bumpers x2! I'm very happy with mine as well, JCR makes a very high quality product! Sorry to hear about the break-in Mike.
We've got a few errands that need to be taken care of Saturday morning but we might be able to hook up with you guys later in the day. I'll text you if we can make it Jim.
Nature never fails to astound, inspire, and invigorate. Moab is climbing the charts of places I want to visit.
I would love to chime in here but my stupid work computer refuses to display pictures in any of the threads! I have an idea of what you're talking about though, I have the same trans cooler to...
That bumper sure does look familiar! Nice job.
That Jeep is looking good with those cleaned up wheels Robert! Looks like a fun trip!
$40 for headliner material from JoAnn Fabrics, $10 of spray glue, a couple hours of easy disassembly/assembly, and you're golden man! :)
Thanks Jim I'll give them a look! I'm not great with electronics so I may give you a call for some pointers when I'm ready to install them.
Thanks! The headliner was a good project... it was a fair amount of work but none of it was hard and the difference between before and after was like night and day.
