tire carrier on, now i need to relocate my license plate and lights...

Any ideas on how to do this? I have a 33 on the custom4x4 tire carrier and bumper.

One way is to put it in the tire and use a plug on the light wiring harness so you can take it completely off when you use your spare. The factory way was to move it to the drivers side and run the light circuit there also.

Detours bumper is offset to the driver's side to allow about 1/2 of the rear window to remain unobstructed. With this design, and Mark's recommendation, you simply move the license plate over to the right, and use the upper and lower (2) screw in points. I think there's a bracket that can be used so you can tie in to the normal 4 points.

I removed the other licence plate after this picture was taken.

I moved it to the Dr. side spliced into the wiring and used nutserts to mount it up. I too have a C4X4.

i had this same set up on my jeep and all i did was get some flat steel that was about 1 1/2 wide and bent it to bolt on in the stock location of the plate and drilled holes to mount the plate on it then got a light and spliced it in to the stock light for the plate.
if that makes any sense sorry i don't have any pics i sold the jeep.
