No BUS is not going away this time!
The mpg window of my gauge cluster keeps going "no bus" which means it's not getting a signal.
Two years ago my son and I took the gauge cluster out and applied some die-electirc grease.
That fixed the problem.
Well this time we did the same thing again because it was popping up again
No Bus...... so we have it apart right now.
Before putting it all back together we tested it. It still says no bus and it won't go away like it did two years ago.
I have been using the GPS for my speed and my overhead fuel gauge for my gas level.
Any thoughts, the gauge cluster is out at the moment as we speak.

Did you check all the connectors and make sure they all look good, and none are compressed or bent?? also check them to make sure either side aren't corroded or cruddy, and clean if needed??

Sooooo.... I called the jeep dealer and spoke to a tech. After a very nice polite conversation with him he said this.
It's either the cluster that has gone bad or a bd wire behind it.
OR its the PCM Power train control module.
He said the cluster being replaced fixes a lot of issues and is the least expensive to repair.
He recommended that I buy a cluster and give it a shot.

Well I can try using rubbing alcohol on the prongs and clean them with a q tip.
