Hi im new here and I just got my self my first jeep Cherokee 89 I wonder if anybody knows if is legal to put a handyman jack on the hood of the car I just put it on mine and I love it but I don't know if is legal.

As long as it is secured and won't come off while your driving down the road it should be fine, but a quick call to your local hwy patrol or state trooper office will give you the answer for your State.
