Off road lighting
Current plans are to put 4 off road lights on the winch bumper. I believe I will be going with two spots and two wide 110 watt lights. Since I will be disconnecting the OEM fog lights from the internal wiring I will have a light switch that I can wire up the 4 off road lights.
My question is this. Should I wire up the spots and the wide angles to one switch or two?
I'm thinking two. If I do this then I'll probably want to do a switch panel.
I may go with wiring all 4 off road lights to the single switch for now and then build the switch panel. Currently I am considering a 5 switch pannel.
1. Rock lights
2. Off road spts
3. Off road Wide angle lights
4. ARB Air locker front
5. ARB Air locker rear
Hmmm I bet I'll need a switch for the air compressor.

2 lights per switch and use relays

Well 4 lights would be ok as long as I had the right size relay, right? I mean yeah eventually I want 2 lights per switch.
-
Yes but it will take on hell of a relay and some pretty heavy wire. Probably 10 gauge and a 60amp relay for 4 100watt lights
-
lol, that's only 33.3 amps!!! Yeah I see your point. Although I bet I could have one swith operate two relays.

You could, I used 1 30 amp relay per switch and 2 lights. I hate fires
