Re: 93 XJ Slooooooow Build
Added some cargo nets to front door, for small stuff. Can find these on rear wall of ext cab rangers. I cut mine down and rewelded it so it wouldn't interfere with window crank.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/13/8ehyzejy.jpg
If you have power Windows, you can use full size. Fits doors perfectly. Beware that newer years are plastic, so if you need to cut them down, get the older metal ones. I was going to do both front doors, but grab a plastic one without looking at it. So I decided to mount that one to the hatch.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/13/ry6u2yru.jpg
If you find them stretched out, dont worry, bungee cord at top can be tightened up.
Also have lift waiting to go on. Waiting for my IRO bracket to come in mail for TB.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/13/4azamate.jpg

Re: 93 XJ Slooooooow Build
Well, got the 3" lift installed. 8 hours of fun by myself! Nice thing was not one bolt gave me any trouble. Even the rear shock bolts came out with ease.
Took out for test ride and got two blocks before turning around. Felt like drive shaft was going to rip out of rear! So, I ended up having to drop TC an inch to get it back in line. Put in New tranny mount and driver side motor mount, while I was there. Been needing them. Still have slight vibration, but atleast its drivable now. Going to put new ujoints in rear shaft too.
Next up will be a SYE and shaft. New brake lines ( rear only has two inches of slack). Then New tires.
It does ride so much nicer on lift!

The view from up there is always better :D
Re: 93 XJ Slooooooow Build
Glad to hear you got the lift installed with no issues... You'll enjoy your XJ even more now, especially when you venture off the road
Re: 93 XJ Slooooooow Build
Yes, amazing how much a difference just 3" can make!http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/18/havepute.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/18/4adaqeza.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/18/9u5yzyme.jpg now I have to find some bigger tires to fill the gap. Can't decide on 31's or 32's!

Re: 93 XJ Slooooooow Build
Wanted to add a idle control on, just to bump up the idle when using the OBA. Makes it fill much faster. So I put one together using a bike gear shifter. Didn't take long to do, took more time finding one! Had to go to a bike shop. Guy gave new used shifter and new cable.

Here it is idled up. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/25/8ubuju5e.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/25/ysere5yg.jpg
I just press pedal in to where I want it and move shifter up to hold it. This way is less strain on cable.
Funny thing is when I went in bike shop and told him what I wanted, he asked if I was building a crawler? Said he gets a lot of people buying them for hand throttles.
Now OBA fills from 0-120psi in about 20 seconds. Still have to see how it does with air tools.

New used tires. $150 for set on the rims. About 1/4 tread left. Will work for a while.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/09/une9udy6.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/09/me3emeby.jpg
After looking at 31's on there. Next ones may be 33's! LOL

Re: 93 XJ Slooooooow Build
Looking good for a "slow" build... I like your hand throttle, and really like those switches with the blue moist guards on em..
