D30 lower control arm skid plates?????

I'm going to do a lot of frontend work on my 97 XJ and I figured that I would install front lower control arm skid plates while I was at it. I can still my factory control arms, I read in one place I can and another I can't?? Thanks for the input. Dan :xj-red:

you can...depends on the angle you choose for skid. depends if your stretching to the moon and back. make some. put them on. if they touch. notch them back
