Looking for a 2dr power window motor and regulator for a 99 xj

looking for a 2dr power window motor and regulator for a 99 xj. i need all the guts for the window to go up and down i found a problem with my door why its not going up and down for one all the inside have been took out the motor and regulator out and clips the wires are still there . in its place is the 2x4 holding it up some real redneck stuff lol ... any body got a power window motor and regulator sitting around with dust or willing to part with or maybe u could pull it from local junk yard i will buy it from you and pay shipping pls help ive been to my local junk yard:pray: and its a no find .. even went to all parts stores nothing .. i dont want to pay dealer prices ...:thanx:

Don, I think the best thing is to hit a pick and pull and make sure you get all the parts. Not sure on the 99, but the earlier Jeeps are all riveted in with 1/4" pop rivets. Those have to be pneumatically re inserted. So I used 1/4X1/2" allen head screws and nylock nuts behind them when reinstalling. I think the pick and pull is best for you because you might be surprised at some little part you need, like maybe a plug for your wirea

Don't give up. I found that the two and four door stuff was the same regulator on the earlier models. Might be the same for you too. For instance I am running one from an 88 renix era 4 door on my 86 2 door

iam not going to give up might have to drop the dime and spend the money a new oem part :bang: the bad part is its about to get out down south but ive got ac woot woot:smiley-chores015: ill hung my 2dr xj and call her beth

Have you tried looking at Amazon and ebay? Maybe at least call the dealership up and ask if the part number is the same for the 2 door and the 4 door. Then you can get pointed in the right direction.
